This may be typed or hand written. It does not need to be MLA formatted.
1. Pick two (2) of the four (4) marked passages to write about.
2. You should write a short essay (paragraph form, long enough to fully respond) for each of the passages you selected.
3. For each passage you select, you will explain how it both exemplifies and questions Postmodern theory as we have discussed in class. When relevant, high quality essays will discuss AND EXPLAIN the concepts of:
- communication entropy
- meaning
- attempts and consequences to impose order on a chaotic universe
Always explain WHY, WHY, WHY!
4. You MUST cite directly from the passages to support your arguments.
5. Each of the two essays will be worth 5 points for a total of 10 points. This essay test counts as “Paper #2” on your syllabus.
